As we look to set up new events and series, we would love to hear your recommendations and ideas not only for which cars to use, but also suggestions regarding weather and day/night settings and track combinations.  We probably won't do anything too crazy, but we'd like to get a feeling for what you want to do in the game.

Ret and I have discussed ways to randomize the weather a bit without it being totally random.  TORA is using realtime weather at the location to set that up.  That could work to set up the starting weather, and then set a second slot as random.

In each event we'll probably post the time of day being used and the time acceleration (ie x5 x10) so you'll know if we're going from morning to afternoon or if it's a sunset race.  Some track, like Catalunya, have very poor lighting at night, so we'd only be able to use cars with headlights in that case.

Since Formula Gulf has already been recommended (and I too think it's a great idea for a series), I also have to throw Formula Rookie into the mix. I ran a lobby with Ret and a few of my friends (Totaling about 8 people) in the Rookies around Silverstone. At the end of qually, all 8 people were less than one second from each other.

After our current series concludes, I was considering a one-off enduro to run before we launch another series. With that in mind, I was hoping to get some feedback regarding the car we can use and the distance you would like to run.

Ideally, the car would have headlights, and distance I'm thinking something north of two hours.

Also, I've been toying with the idea of doing the race with no assists at all, including the racing line. My thinking on this is that night racing loses some of it's effect when there's a bright green line on the track.

Let me know what you would like to use and your thoughts on this event.

For the Enduro, I think GT4 would be a great class. The class is well balanced between the Ginetta, Ford, Aston, and BMW. They are also not nearly as outlandish as the GT3 cars in the speed department.

As much as I love Le Mans, maybe do a different track for the enduro?  Le Man is usually an obligatory track for an enduro series.

As for what Car I vote for a GT4.

I would vote for something...well Radical, the cars are hella fun and can provide some close quarters racing.

Any Radical
BAC Mono

Or just anything with headlights
