Forza Horizon 2

Now I'm thinking I may be throwing the cat amongst the pigeons with this one, but who is looking at getting FH2? There is more news been released, but I've heard rumours of being able to tune cars, which was a definite downside to the first one. The game itself sounds good, with a larger, more diverse map, bigger car clubs and car meets; can't wait to hit the open streets again...

Im keeping an eye on it. Tuning would be interesting but im kinda more interested in the weather effects which are sounding good

I will wait until after it's released, because I played the first and found the physics a little too dumbed down, and the actual races were a bore.  I spent most of my time seeing how far I could drift without stopping.

I'm pretty sure the first game was more of an arcade type than the full fledged simulator Forza Motorsports is billed as.

I dunno, I liked it but I beat the story a little too quickly.

Read the story, sounds like it'll have all the FM5 cars, and debut some others, which isn't a bad thing. Hopefully the DLC will be new cars, and not all updated versions from FM4. Guess we will have to wait and see... Think the 22b will be one of my first, can do a variety of races and classes from that, and it's a good looking car. And the Willys Jeep is a must have

then the fh2 dlc cars, will then be in fm6.

horizon 2 demo is out on xb1

Soundtrack is quality, game looks brilliant, car list is actually quite interesting.

The physics seem dulled down although it still feels nice to play. It'll be a good game, like a more refined version of Horizon 1, which is what it should be.

To be honest I think it will be much more fit for purpose than FM5 was.

Talking of the demo, I've driven the Evo and Bowler. Whilst the Evo had no tuning options, the Bowler allows you to customise pretty much everything.

The car list looks pretty good, not so fussed for the car pack, probably get that when it's on sale. There is enough of a selection, and with tuning now a part the DLC cars shouldn't have so much of an upper hand.

The Radio sounds pretty good, listened to a bit of each one. Time will tell really, but I'll probably be sticking to Hospital Records Radio when I unlock that. 

Visually this is pretty astounding, and so it should. The cars look good as expected, but the scenery and little additions just blend in so well it can be hard to spot. Windscreen wiper blades and plants flying off your car when you drive through fields are just a couple of bits.

The physics, well I can drift in it so they are definitely different from FM5, but that said they suit the game. Going from dirt to tarmac you can definitely feel the difference where the tires get grip. 

Just have to wait for the game now...

I agree with the whole different terrain grip difference.

During a race with heavy rain covering the road, even the AWD Evo slides like it would on a slick surface, braking distance is increased as expected, and flooring it when turning can get you to slide a bit.

I love the way the rain looks and drives in this game, for me, HUGE selling point..

So far I've really enjoyed it, I pre ordered and have been playing some almost everyday. So who else got it as well?

Just finished the finale. Going to work through the bucket list gubs now.

Nice I was doing more of the other things before I went straight to the finale. Think I might go for it now though knowing you beat me to it....LOL

Still doing different things on there. Think I still have 9 or 10 championships to do yet. Played online a bit, and I've only got two more skill points to get to unlock the last perk. Done a couple on the bucket list, and a few barn finds...

Not done that much of the championships to be honest, have done a lot of the bucket lists and online though. That WW2 Jeep is a monster fully upgraded as well

Really? I haven't even driven it just cuz I thought it would be a slouch, think I might have to go upgrade it.

It isn't so brilliant with turns but if you managed to find a hill angled just right you might be able to put it into orbit!
