Ironman challenge

Post by RetPetty on Tue Dec 06, 2011 4:22 pm

They always talk bout how easy racing has become. Traction control, ABS, power steering all these modern gadgets that take away from the racer

Well who thinks they man enough to take on a true test of racing? No assists whatsoever, forced cockpit and sim damage? Whiny little boys need not apply. Even chuck norris frowned, just alittle.

We will be taking 50s cars around the most gruelling of circuits fm4 has to offer.

This will be a sunday series starting in january. More details to follow

Man up!!

Well nothings set in stone at the moment just gauging interest. This will be opened up to FLR aswell so im sure we can get a nice sized lobby of real racers

Little pimple faced schoolkids will be refused entry

Sundays for you are Mondays for me....that means probably not gonna make it Sad

If it can somehow work, I'm totally down Smile My only comment is I'd rather do stock A, S, and R classes Twisted Evil

it will probably be lower classes since most of the 50s cars are kinda around the c,d,e class.

i havent decided on any of that yet though, still reviewing the cars.

It does seem like an awful lot to take in all at once. I know personally that racing from inside the cockpit (on a 21" monitor none the less) and without the breaking line turned on will be a huge jump....maybe if it was only one or the other?

I'm good for it, except Sundays are my iffy days. Depending on what time it is, I might be able to race.
