Re: Hornet Car Series
No offense intended to what I'm about to say but this is arguably the most confusing series I have ever read in my life. You should have just called this "I don't know how to word this series so I'll just copy and paste the series info into a description and see who all can comprehend it". Seriously this series makes no sense whatsoever, we can't measure wheelbases in this game. We can't add struts or spring rubbers, we can't take out our AirConditioners, am I saying that this is a bad series, of course not it could be fun and like everyone else I will keep my eye on it. But next time don't just copy and paste everything into a spoiler. Breaking it down first, then figuring out on how you can translate it into Forza terms would make not only our lives easier, but your life easier as you can see which cars you can allow/not allow. This is by no means a shot at you or anything, but next time just don't copy and paste off of a real life series website, because 99.9% of it won't translate into Forza.
Re: Hornet Car Series
I just edited it and hopefully it makes more sense. PLEASE WAIT for the car/track list to be announced before tuning/building a car.
Thanks for all the feedback,

Re: Hornet Car Series
Looking at the car rules, I think I'm going with the Mazda 787B for this one.

Re: Hornet Car Series
Really? I don't think that fits with the car descriptions?

Re: Hornet Car Series
Either I overlooked 4 door or you just edited it in, but it fitted with all other requirements.

Re: Hornet Car Series
Soooo which is it?
Any production car after 1981 is permitted or the cars on the list are permitted?
Your list of upgrade restrictions reads like stereo instructions.
Were you making all of this up on the fly?

Re: Hornet Car Series
1. I'm sure there is a lot more post 81 production cars in the game, than that very limited list. Either you added extra rules to make up that list, or you just chose a few that you like to see in the series. When I read "any post 81 production car", I'm going with a Bugatti Veyron.
2. No upgrades allowed whatsoever, yet we can do drivetrain swaps on the Subarus?
3. With the no upgrades allowed, and the 4 ovals included, this will be a one car race, with the one that has the highest top speed as the only viable car for the series.
All in all, I think you should look at how you can transform this cluster of what seems like random and contradicting rules into a complete rulesset for an interesting, exciting series. Think of how you can make all the cars viable choises, or at least closer together than what they are now. 8 races is long, if you plan to do these on 8 consecutive weekends. For 2 races on one weekend they seem to be a bit too lengthy. Considering length, we have 30 laps Suzuka but also 15 laps of Sunset oval? This will result in highly varying race durations.
There, I hope you think this through and do something with it, I'm sure more people will be interested then.

Re: Hornet Car Series
I will keep this in mind and just FYI the car List isn't random they are ones used in the Actual series. I will remove the Subaru's from the list.Othelion wrote:1.
