You did a fine job on the shading, the grey matches the pink quite well. It'll be interesting to see all the different liveries on the same car. If they're all of this quality, it'll look just like the real series (or even better ).

A little heads up, our first race will start this sunday already. If you still want to participate, you're welcome, and the paint and build can be sent right away. The more, the merrier!

I can only make the 1st and last race but, this sounds too good to miss. Can I have the build, please? Tyres, ARBS and df are tuneable, correct?

I'll send them over, Bad Boy. Yes, there's only tire pressure, front arb and downforce to be tuned. This is the same as in the real series, except the addition of tuneable aero, because of getting the look of the cars correct I had to use the adjustable aero upgrades.

First races were a succes with 10 people showing up. We had a few intense battles already, spec series at its finest. Me, Bobbo and Skismo must have passed eachother at least every lap in race 2, which made that one of the most close races I've ever been in. The brakes need a little getting used to, resulting in a few unvoluntary hits. None the less, I hope everyone had as much fun as I had. We did have a few lag incidents, and I hope it's not my hosting that's to blame. If it is, I'll ask around for a different host. On to the results:

I enjoyed it for sure, although i was slightly surprised in the lap times differences. Maybe i should take a power HC as some kind of ballast for next weekend.

When Bubba isn't here to race, you basically have no competition. If you want a handicap, we could try a grip handicap, but I think you won't like that either, same as the power handicaps and why we changed the tier system. The difference is that it affects the area where you're better than the rest, cornering. The only real solution would be to find a few new drivers of your level to join msm.

It's a good series, Othelion. I enjoyed it too. It wasn't really my day though....was feeling really tired, had the wrong set up for Hock, I forgot to change it back from a previous days testing at another track. And just when I got into some good racing at Nurb, I rolled it. There was quite a bit of lag...not sure if its because you were hosting. Anyway, looking forward to the next round.

I'd like to run in this if possible -- Bobbo sent me the build and tune today.

Missed the last race cause of a shopping day with Miss that piss me off

Two great races lastnight, had some close racing with Dom and Othelion for the 1st 5 laps of race 1, Dom was flying allover my screen and i didn't want to try and pass and take us both out of the race. Race 2 was a bit of a Crash/lag fest, there was atleast 3 people severely lagging on my screen, alot of banter, alot of laughs and a few arguements, all in all great fun and looking forward to next week.

If you haven't seen the replay, Bobbo has the Alps race on his SF. Those first 3 laps are pretty crazy. At about lap 4 Fam indeed bounced off the wall into me, rather than simply turning straight into me. Reverse grid on a track nobody had prepared for produced some exciting, if at times careless, driving.

Speaking of not being prepared...I was practicing on the wrong Silverstone circuit. I thought the race was going to be on the National circuit for some reason....I have hardly ever driven on the International circuit...it really threw me when the race started...didn't know my breaking points at all. And I had prepared for the Bernese race, but that went pear shaped as well...Othelion spun the car and I went flying straight into him...damaged the car so much that I had to pit...

This series really isn't going well for me.

The first race was a great one, we had several good battles for each position. Me, Snip and Dom had a good race with several overtakes, and from what I could hear the others had their share of close racing too. Second race was a little less succesful. Well, I took myself out really but there were a few more incidents. Reverse grid, unfamiliar tracks and identical cars aren't the best of combinations I guess. The lag didn't help either.

To hopefully solve the lag issue for the upcoming races, I want to ask Snip or Dom if they could do the hosting for the upcoming 2 weeks. Plus, to prevent any carnage on the second race, I will replace Ladera with Catalunya GP for the upcoming weekend.
