April Fooling Around
Since the Miata series just ended and the IMSA series still has another week to go, I thought an informal get-tegether might be nice to shake loose some of those winter blahs. I'm thinking we could do a set of races in every class, from F through R1 at random tracks.
We'll get it kicked off on Sunday, April 1 at 4:00PM EDT / 8:00PM GMT / 9:00 BST. Feel free to jump in even if you're late.

Re: April Fooling Around
I was racing with Bobbo, Rico, and Randaddy the other night, and they had zero cars in F class. How can that be?! F is for FUN!

Re: April Fooling Around
Anyone racing tonight? I beat ME3 and I need somwhere to get away from that garbage ending, and Forza seems good.

Sounds good..I'll be there !!!
Btw, when I first join a lobby, I can't hear what anyone is saying....takes a race or 2 till your voices stop breaking up.
Edit: Except for Bobbo's voice. For some reason I can always hear him perfectly...no idea why.

Re: April Fooling Around
I'll be there, probably be drunk by the time we get to A-S class, but hey
As for voices breaking up, I get that too. I so want to join in a conv but get put off by having to listen to Norman "one joke" Collier.

C - 57 Ford Thunderbird
B - 71 Ford Mustang
A - Ferrari Testarossa
S - Ferrari F40
R3 - Ferrari 599 GTO
R2 - GT500 Toyota Supra
R1 - Toyota GT-One

Handful? It was bleedin' awful I'd had a few drinks by then which obviously didn't help.

Re: April Fooling Around
If you see a lot of invites, just accept and join the fun (if you can) ofcoarse! It was a blast, we really did a lot of varied races. I had my ups and downs result-wise. Getting spun sometimes on the start, and gave a few unintended hits myself. Jumping in another car class each time isn't good for consistent close racing, especially when driving a car I hardly drive otherwise. The good I remember was the 1-2 finish of my club garage Alfa in B class Silverstone (thanks Clark for driving it), and my RS3 rocket in A class Tsukuba with the incredible close finish of 4 thousands of a second taking 2 wins in a row. Oh, and dive bombing Dom on the last corner in R2 Laguna :p

Re: April Fooling Around
Yeah, it was a lot of fun..2 1/2 hrs of it. I have a terrible knack of picking the wrong car for a track, especially in the lower classes. Anyway, thanks Dom, hope we can do this sort of thing more often.
