Live Replica Competition

Hi gang!

As most of you may know i love replica... Some people may think it's
easy but i know how it can be difficult so i set up this contest for you
gang.

The goal is to make a replica of that car and it have to be the more accurate as possible :

I choose this replica cause it contain almost all the issue you may
encounter on a replica and the logo are not so hard. Feel free to share
your logo with others but keep in mind they compete on the same
competition as you...lol

First you'll have to choose wich RX-8 model you'll use (2004 or 2011).
Both don't have the same aftermarkets parts and each one give differents
possibility.
After you'll have to choose the best build (bumper, wing, skirt, rims) to be accurate as possible.
Finally you'll paint it closest as possible to the original blueprint

Entry be judged by me and some folks at AART (a post of your entry will be up in the member lounge of our forum)
As a judge i won't enter that comp but i have already done that replica on both model so i know what you have to deal with
We will judge your work by 3 categorie

-Logo and design accuracy (accuracy in logo, exact position and size...same thing with the design)
-the way you have deal with issue (non paintable windshield and some build won't allow you to place logo on it like black parts and forza spoiler )
-The overall look (does it look like the original)

You can post up to five pictures of your work, plz use a spoiler to put your pic in it.
Submission will close on 1st of August

1st prize : 5M + limited edition car
2nd prize: limited edition car
3rd prize : 3M

I'll gift SunTrust and ROLEX serie logo to participants who ask for it cause i dont want you to loose time with those.
Paint must be unlocked and up in your SF to allow us closer look so plz put your GAMERTAG along with your pictures

Great idea and challenge, Live. I'll give it a try, even though there are definitely a lot better painters in our team. You can send those logos my way if you like. It will be interesting what everyone will come up with. I have a question: what will become of the winning paint? I think something should be done with it, maybe as a prize car for some future competition (just an idea)?

Can someone tell me what the logo is that's located top of the ones on the pillar? It's the one made up of squiggles that roughly resembles the shape of a person. Thanks
