Ironman challenge

They always talk bout how easy racing has become. Traction control, ABS, power steering all these modern gadgets that take away from the racer

Well who thinks they man enough to take on a true test of racing? No assists whatsoever, forced cockpit and sim damage? Whiny little boys need not apply. Even chuck norris frowned, just alittle.

We will be taking 50s cars around the most gruelling of circuits fm4 has to offer.

This will be a sunday series starting in january. More details to follow

this sounds great, just depends on what time of day, being in the uk

normally our sunday series are ran 12 EST time, so 8pm in the uk

8pm is fine on a sunday, looking forward to whats going to be a tough series

still ahve to work out the full details but good to see some interest already. yeah its gonna be tuff series for sure, but i think it`ll push people outta their comfort zones

I might try it, the only problems might me abs and manual w/clutch and car expences

i`ll help out with a car if you need credits. maybe see what the raffle turns up too

i think its a learning curve for everyone. well besides aware

I have ~3mil but its because I won't use the car much, it might go to waste but there's the aucton house

manual w/clutch? how do you set a pad up for that

swap the clutch to be your a button and lb would then be your e brake.

I am so down for this! except.. 9am is too early could we move it back to 1pm EST? i think i could be good by 10 but damn 9? dunno but we will see.

Well nothings set in stone at the moment just gauging interest. This will be opened up to FLR aswell so im sure we can get a nice sized lobby of real racers

Sundays for you are Mondays for me....that means probably not gonna make it

If it can somehow work, I'm totally down My only comment is I'd rather do stock A, S, and R classes

it will probably be lower classes since most of the 50s cars are kinda around the c,d,e class.

i havent decided on any of that yet though, still reviewing the cars.

if i removed or allowed certain assists would more people be interested maybe?

It does seem like an awful lot to take in all at once. I know personally that racing from inside the cockpit (on a 21" monitor none the less) and without the breaking line turned on will be a huge jump....maybe if it was only one or the other?

i can understand allowing a few more assists,but then would it be the same as all the others

I'm good for it, except Sundays are my iffy days. Depending on what time it is, I might be able to race.
