Compared to most cars of the same value, most Mazda Miatas are actually kept in decent shape. I think the comedic idea that a large number of drivers might pull their cars out of the garage and tape a number to the side has taken hold on MSM this time around. In America I believe the Miata also has a certain iconic status now, and presenting that icon in its many different forms, including that of a weekend racer, has a certain familiarity.

I don't tape, I glue.

Tbh most mx-5's you see in the uk are well looked after, it is just the way they have been portrayed in this series

I use paper mache made from my own saliva.

The mechanic i worked with had a, '95 or so, Miata. He kept it real nice shape.

Had stiffener bars, ARB's, Roll cage stiffener, after market full exhaust, a nice set of wider wheels.

It didn't look like much but the car handled unreal. I have much respect for these cars.

I figured any delivery boy would have fun in a Miata.

I like the Miata's, have thought about getting one. Not very practicle for every day use though. Great trackday car though and easy on equipment. The more you add weight to the car the more tires you end up getting and more brakes you end up buying...



OT Anyone else having braking issues? I am struggling to keep the car balanced when braking, the rear end keeps wanting to come out on me.

Can't say i have tbh Viper, the car feels pretty stable all round for me

That usally happens when the bias is set too much to the rear, try setting it with more front bias.

Can't set the bias =( Wish I could move the bias forward, would be an easy fix then =)

Spec series so cant change anything other than the upgrades and tunes in the OP

Aww it's not difficult to drive really, just have to keep momentum up =) A car is easy there are only a few setup options so anyone could gift you a car. 10 laps of practice and you would be set, you speed demon!

Ok, I might, I know the car well (irl and forza) but for the first race I might have the bare minimum for liveries. (Because of the short notice)

everyone has the bare minimum in terms of liveries. Remember, its a track car, not a race car so simple is realistic

i dont think i will do this, i have stuff to do on sundays, sorry

The car is ready, the driver... has to work the first 2 weeks.
