Call Your Shot: Round 2

There were a couple scares in round 1, and one upset seed with #9 Bobbo managing to earn his ticket into the next round with a last moment lap to take the victory. The main bracket will continue as before, with the lowest seed issuing the challenge. The consolation bracket is also listed below, proceeding in the same manner.

All challenges must be issued by midnight 12:00 AM EST Wednesday September 12 (ie Tuesday night/Wednesday morning). Please PM your challenge to the higher seed and post in this thread.

This round will end on 12:00 AM EST Saturday September 15 (Friday night/Saturday morning).

I just need to finalise exactly what I'm going to do for my call. Not 100% sure yet.

OK, Bubba, here's my "shot". S class, Infineon 1/4 mile. Any car/tune you like.

Current time 9.409. (is on LB but I've sent a replay to Dom as well).

your gonna have to think of something else, i dont have that car and its the leaderboard car for quarter mile in s class

Didn't realise it was DLC, must have come with the muscle pack. I'll try something else.

Car: GT500 spec using the regulations from MSM's GT500 series. You can use any car from the car list for this.

Challenge: Fastest lap time wins, it's that simple

Conditions: No ABS and no 'Manual w/clutch'.

My soon to be defeated shot is rather simple.

Car: Ferrari F40C

Track: Road America

Challenge: Set the best OVERALL time over a 5 lap period, all 5 laps MUST be clean and verified by replay.

Conditions: MUST keep car RWD, bring car to R2856(all upgrades plus aftermarket rims)

Does the replay verify dirty laps?

OK, Bubba's "CYS challenge", round 2 v1.1...

Drag. R3, tune/build anyway you want. Has to be '71 Nissan GT-R (the LB car but is readily available). I'm roughly (maybe 97.68%?) sure that the track is Infineon 1/4 mile, but it's my only time in this car, on the LB, so won't be hard to find. Time to beat, 8.926. Good luck.

Edit, it is infineon, I've checked.

Using quick race under the free play menu give the fastest race time on Laguna Seca using a bone stock SSC Ultimate Aero

EDIT: Time to beat is 1:34.768

My bad minim, don't know why I put TCS in the not allowed section :S, you don't usually use it anyway no?

I've changed it in my OP now as well, just to warn you. Feel Free to stick on TCS and do some more laps if you want to.

Will not using TCS in fact make me quicker?

Why do I have so many questions?

I was going to say its against the whole principal of the tournament to go chopping and changing the specifications once its posted.

Maybe, possibly it mightve been capable if neither of us had ran times but since we've both turned laps its in the same vein as making a series AWD only on the second race.
