Introduce Yourself
So team members can get to know each other better with a brief background sketch, please feel free to post any information you'd like to share here. I'll get things started:
I am the current leader and one of two original founders of Maverick Speed Motorsports. I've been playing Forza since the release of Forza 3 in November 2009. I consider myself a car fanatic first and gamer second, so my xbox library might seem a bit limited. I'm a huge fanboy of Ferrari in all motorsports, particularly in F1, andhave owned nothing but Fords my entire life currently drive a Volvo C70. I'm originally from New York City and have lived in many places as a military brat, but now reside in Omaha, Nebraska. I love watching almost every sport from MMA to football, and I'm only too willing to talk your ear off about them all.

Re: Introduce Yourself
My name is Rob, but I'm mostly known around here as CallMehDarkside, or Bobbo to about everyone here in MSM.
I Started playing Forza in July of 2010 after deciding to expand my niche, I am quite possibly the most aggressive driver on Maverick Speed Motorsports, as in if there is a spot of daylight, you best be known that I will go for that daylight. But as of late I have seem to have become more patient behind the wheel and now I consider myself one of the more consistent drivers on the team.
I am a big sports fan with my favorite teams being Pittsburgh Steelers(NFL), Philadelphia Flyers(NHL), Philadelphia Philles(MLB) and the LA Lakers(NBA). I am also a big America Le Mans series fan and I root for Team Ferrari in Formula 1.
I have been with my girlfriend since January of 2006 and everyday seems to be more magical(please help me, she drives me nuts).
You can normally see me in 1 of the following 5 brands of cars, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, BMW and Ford. My favorite car being the Ferrari 458 Italia that I always find time in my day to drive or work on in paint.
I was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, but I never really lived there as my family moved due to my dad's job transfer in 1994, which means I was only 2 when I moved. I now reside in Lancaster County in a town called Lititz, PA(most boring town in the world). I am always energetic and will be willing to help out anyone who needs it.

Re: Introduce Yourself
I have been playing racing games since I was old enough to figure it out, that was back in the Atari 2600 days. Racing is the only sport I really like, although I don't follow many of the series around the world. The only series I follow some what close is the World of Outlaw sprint cars and the American Sprint Car Series on Tour, NASCAR somewhat, Tony Stewart is the man in NASCAR for me, simply because he came up through sprint cars, and currently owns a couple dirt tracks, on of them being the famous Eldora Speedway in Ohio.
I live in Alcester, SD that is about 45 miles to the south of Sioux Falls on a small acerage where I ride my quads and do what ever I feel like doing. Bonfires and beer are a popular summer time activity.
I raced 360 sprint cars for 5 years, currenly I am a crew member for the 410 Buffalo Wild Wings sprint car. This team resides in my shop that is located in Tea, SD. My primary jobs are weekly maint, building new cars, and tuning the fueling of both the 360 and 410 motors. I also fix and build sprint car chassis when I can find the time.
For my day time job I am the I.T. Manager at Alkota Cleaning Systems, INC. Been with the company since 2005, love my job but at times it sucks. But what job doesn't.
That is probably more that most wanted to know about me.

Hoi gois, i'm minim and i'm the MSM-EU Leader. Live in East Midlands, England and have done all my life.
Avid gamer and will play almost anything (except Call of Duty). Been playing forza on and off since forza 1 then once I found competitive racing have been hooked ever since.
Enjoy all motorsports and just look for an exciting race rather than a standalone winner. I am firm but fair in my eyes, both on and off track. I also love coding.
P.S - I liek chikuns

Re: Introduce Yourself
Ello, I am BotanicDuke92 but you might hear some call me "shel", due to a former gt account I was operating under. I love cars and I love driving them even more. I was a Gran Turismo user until the release of ps3. I acquired an xbox a year ago and used FM3 since Dec. 2010 and started racing online in January 2011.
I like to compete in a gentleman environment and race cleanly as possible. I like to find and race with people with similar interests. I am still new to online gaming but I have been enjoying my involvement so far and have been pleased with the friends I have made, aside from Bobbo. I keed, I keed!!!

Re: Introduce Yourself
Greetings, I am Josh or Drizzin. Started playing Forza during 2006, kept up with the other versions. I have jumped between games along the way stopping me from understanding the proper tuning methods, but I do my best. Joined FLR after I got back from Iraq. Saw Mr. Dominic Mako and fell in love with his sultry voice. After the collapse of AAM, I tagged along to MSM. Had a small break from the game as work and family took major priority, but am back to race as much as possible. My time zone tends to limit my racing with others. I love lamp, chocolate squirrels, guitar, music, long walks off of a short pier, 1998 Dodge Viper GTS, and astrophysics. I don't have a serious bone in my body therefore don't expect a serious answer.
bye.
bye.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hey everyone...my name is Jeremiah Allen and I go my "Miah" in RL...but online you'll see me elsewhere as "miahallen".
I'm an avid computer enthusiast and overclocker. I've been overclocking competitively for about 3 years and I'm a 2 time North American Champion one time world champion. I've also been reviewing computer HW and writing articles about overclocking for the past few years, you can check out some of my work here if you are interested.
Lately I've been backing off on my overclocking and getting back into gaming. Mostly cause the price of liquid nitrogen in Japan is outrageous. Anyhow, I'm a hardcore driver (although not all that talented) I drive with a MS wheel and no assists except for anti-lock brakes about 50% of the time. I'm really looking forward to facing you all on the track. And I'm really looking forward to the FM4 release
I'm also a DiRT fan, of if any of you want to run off-road a bit, LMK
I've also been playing iRacing quite a bit lately, add me and we can race if you like.
BTW - my gamertag starts with "Miah" which is my nickname in real life (short for Jeremiah). It is pronounced "my-ah" not "me-ah"
if you're talking to me on XBL, feel free to use it

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hey guys, my GT is FlySoGood but real name is Sam.
Been playing Forza for give or take a year now and have seemed to try everything out in at least some level of detail but mostly I have been concentrating on drifiting and a bit of grip racing, although I wouldn't call myself an expert at either by any means (as a few of you probably saw earlier in those few races).
Anyway for Forza 4 I wanted a community that would race often and would race at a time that would accommodate my stupid time zone, so I came here
I'll be trying to get a lot better at grip racing in Forza 4 but I will still be actively trying to better my drifting skills as well. If anyone is doing BNB in Forza 4 add me there too (Same name).
Anyway I look forward to racing with you all even if I'm 2000m behind you all.

I never messed with drifting much in Forza 3, but I'd really like to see some challenges up for the team in FM4....I want to learn it a bit better...I was really good at it in GRID

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hello, I'm Toasterr x or Adam, but for posterity's sake and to not confuse me with the other Adam (awareofnow) please call me Av2. I like to write, so this may be a lengthy introduction.
I currently reside in the thrilling city of Toronto, in Ontario. Yup, I'm a Canuck.
My love of racing started when I was young. I was 3, to be exact. I had just gotten the first Gran Turismo on the PSX and thought it was the most awesome thing ever. Although I didn't understand the concept of the brakes (why do I want to slow down? I'm trying to go as fast as I can!) I managed to get quite far in those games. It wasn't until I got GT4 that I learned that slowing down helps you go faster.
I am probably the youngest current MSM member at 15 years old, and unfortunately, at times I act like it. I am loud, annoying, slightly immature, sometimes vulgar and always misinformed, but that's what you get for hanging out with the Bobbo (CallMehDarkside).
I've been with FLR since it's inception (or close enough to). I originally started with TAR (Team Anarchy Racing) because of my love of the R33 Godzilla which was it's team car at the time. When that team went dead I joined MSM, much to the chagrin of the leaders.
I may not be the fastest driver around, but I work on my consistency in lines and always improving my times, which leads to success more often than not, provided I'm on a track I like in a car that I can reasonably drive (read: wasn't tuned by me.) I currently hold the trophy for MSM's 2nd Annual Cone Smashing award, and I welcome anyone to take the title from me
One thing to know about me: I may or may not be a Lewis Hamilton impersonator.

My name is Ian.
GT: Clark GriswoId
Born and raised in Hunterdon County New Jersey, and i still live here. Was a factory BMW motorcycle tech for 5 years out of Montvale, NJ. I mounted and static balanced every tire used in the BMW Boxer cup. Was a motorcycle track day junky for 6 years. Mainly ran at Pocono and VIR with a little Mid-Ohio and boy does that drain the savings account. Made it to the fast groups, had a near death and gave it all up.
I now am a construction manager for a cell tower company and manage all sorts of cell instalations from AT&T, Cricket, T-mobile, etc.
I have been playing video games since NES and Forza specifically since Forza 2.
I shoot sporting clays regularly, and have been playing the guitar since i was 7.
I would love to be able to learn to tune in FM4. I had a great hold on FM2 in regards to tuning but lost it in FM3.
I look forward to racing with everyone and appreciate the opportunity to join the group.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hey guys - I'm a former MSM member but I figure it's best to re-introduce myself as I only recognize 3 or 4 names around here.
My name's Alex - gamertag Nelicquele42 -- the pronunciation is NEHL-ick-QUELL but Alex is a lot easier to go by.
I'm a 21 year old senior in college majoring in broadcast journalism - been into video games since before I could walk and started my racing game hobby with what I still consider to be one of the best video games of all time - Gran Turismo 3 A-spec.
Bought Forza 3 not long after it came out and got very into the online community offered both at the forza motorsport forums and Finish Line Racing. I was an Apex Addicts member and when that team split up I went with Dominic and several other members to MSM.
In addition to school and games, I also play a lot of music. I front an acoustic band called Clouds Like Mountains (we have a facebook page if you're into that sort of thing)
anyway
I took a long break for a while to concentrate on school, but now that Forza 4 is out I wanted to get back into the community. Hope to see a lot of you guys on the virtual race track!

Hey I'm Rodney. I've been playing forza since forza 2 and been hooked since. Im really into drag racing, I have a 87 mustang lx coupe in my garage I'm rebuilding, it's going alot slower then I hoped. Since I got forza 4 today I'm planning on getting more into grip racing and thought joining a club would help me out in that area. Looking forward to having some races with everyone!

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hey all, I'm Blake. I've been playing Forza since the debut of Forza 3 back in 09. I was a huge NFS Underground 2 player on PS2, was third in the world for circuit, fifth in sprint, and sixth for URL before they closed down those servers; so I do have a successful videogame racing career persay
However, Forza is a way different animal than NFS or any other game. And this I've become accustomed to.
Enough of the virtual me. First off like I said my name is Blake and I'm from a town called Massillon in Ohio; just about an hour south of Cleveland, 30 minutes south of Akron, and about 2 hours northeast of Columbus.
I'm currently in my fourth year of college, studying sports management and business administration. I also am in my last year of playing collegiate football.
Just like Dominic, I consider myself a car enthusiast first, gamer second. I have loved and owned GM's all my short driving life. I also hang out at the local "street racing" scene here in Ohio (as corny as it sounds its pretty legit stuff).
My first car when I was 16 was a 1981 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. After blowing the first motor out of it, I put a second in and sold my pride and joy. My next toy was a 1995 Pontiac Trans Am. I owned the 95 for about two months then some old lady on her cell phone decided to total it. A few months after my accident I bought what I currently own, a 2000 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 or Ram Air. I have basic free mods, a cat back exhaust, smooth bellow, new air box and some body work done to her. Next summer however I'd like to sell her and buy a C5 Corvette
Other than that I'm a pretty cool guy to get along with. Loyal to my team, good work ethic, and always ready to lend an ear to learn a little more everyday. I look forward to being a part of the team!

Hiya guys, my name is Ed, GT xXxEDD1ExXx. I may have spoken to a few of you before as im freinds with mininm61.
I have been playing since Forza 2 but never really got into the games untill 3 had been out a while. I really enjoy all types of motor racing and I try to go to as many British Touring Car races as I can. I love working on my own car but as I am at uni money is a bit tight. Plus, I use it to commute and I am bound to break it!
I love to tune cars, make designs and do a bit of casual racing. I am not the super competative type when it comes to Forza, (unless I am trying to beat minim's time on the demo!) so I will not be joining in races and competitions as much as most of you lot will be. I would love to hone my tuning skills and I really want to learn how to drift tune so I will be looking for hints and tips!
I look foward to talking and playing with all of you!

Hey, my name is Mike, Gamertag HighTower128. I've played all of the forza games however none for very long after release. I was never able to find an active car club, as well as having internet issues out in the boonies.
I am not very experienced in tuning, however I do look forward to hopefully learning from some of the more experienced tuners.
Look forward to racing with you all!!

Hey everyone!
Name is Daniel or Danny, GT: Culv3r... Been playing forza 2/3 on and off for a while. I'm 26, about 2 months from Separating with the USAF with which I've served 8 interesting years.
I'm an avid precision kart driver. Have 2 tracks down here and some of the Karts are no joke. As for Forza, I do my best to be a clean driver. If you've ever been in an accident, you'll understand why
. Anywho, look forward to seeing the rest of you out on the asphalt!
